Police are seeking leads on two Kona men missing in separate incidents.
Joshua Toney, 26, was last seen on Feb. 1 leaving his parents’ Kailua-Kona home after telling them he was going to hike in Pololu Valley in North Kohala.
According to police, Toney’s parents found his moped parked unattended in the Pololu lookout parking area.
Toney is a Caucasian male, 5-feet-10-inches tall, 175 pounds, with long, curly brownish-blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a denim jacket, no T-shirt, and black shorts. He has a tattoo on his forearm with a compass and anchor reading “not all those who wander are lost.”
And 55-year-old Paul Julian Fernandez was last seen Jan. 21 at about 4 p.m. on Kalani Street in Kailua-Kona.
Fernandez, who is known to frequent the Kona area near Henry Street and Palani Road, is described as a Caucasian male, 5-feet-7-inches tall, 165 pounds, with blue eyes and partially balding blonde hair.
