The Food Basket served more than 3,000 people in Hilo Wednesday during its second Ohana Food Drop of 2021.

Cars were tightly packed in the parking lot of the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium while awaiting their turn to drive through the line for bulk groceries from Hawaii Island’s food bank.

The next food drop will be 10 a.m. today in Naalehu at the Naalehu Hongwanji Temple.
