Born in Hana, Maui, he was a journeyman carpenter, a carpenter for Cliff Pouton Builders, a construction worker for Glover Construction Company and Hawaii Dredging Construction Company, worked for Hicks Homes Builders, and owned Cosma’s Carpentry Services.
