The state Department of Health has reported 11 new COVID-19 cases on Hawaii Island today, bringing the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 1,623.
As a result of updated information, one case on the Big Island was dropped from the counts.
Hawaii County has a 1.3% test positivity rate.
The DOH has reported 106 new cases and a 1.7% test positivity rate statewide.
Free drive-through COVID-19 testing will be offered 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Keaau High School in Keaau and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the West Hawaii Civic Center in Kailua-Kona.
No insurance is necessary to be tested, and there is no co-pay. Bring a driver’s license and insurance card if you have one.
Those seeking testing should wear a face covering at all times and observe social distancing.
