Orlando Miguel Corrales, 83, of Keaau died Nov. 1 at home. Born in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a former worker of Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co., an ambulance driver in the Philippines and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Mission – Keaau. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section. Face mask and social distancing required. Survived by wife, Victoria Corrales of Keaau; son, Danilo Gringo (Maile) Corrales of Hilo; sister, Luz C. Alipio of Hilo; sisters-in-law, Esmeralda T. Rivera and Ely Nadel Stuebe of Hawaii; four grandchildren and three-great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Gaylord “Hano” Mokeawe Hanohano, 69, of Keaau died Aug. 25 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a mechanic. No services. Survived by son, Gayfred “Baba” (Royann) Hanohano of Keaau; stepdaughter, Paige Hanohano of Hilo; stepson, Robert Adrian of Waiehu, Maui. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Mabel Catherine Pacheco, 90, of Hilo died Nov. 12 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, she was a physical education teacher, front office secretary, security supervisor and custodial supervisor at St. Joseph Schools and the first woman inducted into the Big Island Sports Hall of Fame. Survived by sisters-in-law, Irene (Eugene) Pacheco and Jackie (Herman) Pacheco; nine nieces and nephews, 28 great-nieces and nephews, 26 great-great nieces and nephews and three great-great-great nieces and nephews. The late Fernando Pueblas Ducosin is survived by, among others, his wife, Caroline Obra Ducosin of Waipahu. Her name was incorrect in an obituary published Nov. 27. The Tribune-Herald regrets the error.
