Emiko Okamoto Goya, 95, of Hilo died Oct. 25 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a retired accountant with Mauna Kea Agribusiness and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin Kyodan, Tenkokyo Hawaii Kyokai, Senior Net and the Ainako Association. Private services held. No koden (monetary gifts). Survived by sons, Russell R. (Andrea Ueno) Goya and Curtis E. (Sharon) Goya of Hilo and Kent S. (April) Goya of Kaneohe, Oahu; daughter, Naomi (Greg) Kaneko of Kaneohe; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Keven Child Handy, 59, of Waimea died Nov. 5 at home. Born in Dallas County, Texas, he was a salesman for Verizon and Radio Shack, manager at Subway, former chief security officer at the Dallas Museum and former lifeguard in Texas. No services. Survived by wife, Sylvia Handy of Waimea; stepdaughters, Cheryl Apalig of Waimea and June (David) Paoa of Puna; brothers, Steve (Emma) Handy of Hilo and Fred (Gerry) Handy of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren and 11 stepgrandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
