Three new COVID-19 cases have been reported on the Big Island today, while 87 were reported statewide.

According to Department of Health reports, there have been a total of 703 cases on the Big Island so far, an increase of only three since yesterday.

Meanwhile, the state total is now 12,290, of which 11,106 have been on Oahu. That island received 80 new cases today.

Maui County received another two cases today, bringing its total to 390, while Kauai County’s total remains at 59, having received no new cases today.

Two more people died of COVID in the state today, bringing the statewide death count to 134.

So far, 832 patients have required hospitalization, while 10,256 have been released from isolation.
