Police say they’ve identified the deceased man whose body was found Sept. 18 in Pololu Valley in North Kohala.

They’re not publicly releasing the identity of the victim, who they say appeared to be in his 20s or 30s, pending notification of kin.

His body was found about 100 yards from the bottom of the entrance trail.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death, but police don’t suspect foul play.
