Theresa Mae Caravalho, 68, of Holualoa died Sept. 6 at home. Born in Honokaa, she was a housekeeper at Casa De Emdeko condominiums and member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Services held at a later date. Survived by husband, David Caravalho of Holualoa; sons, David (Adele Costa) Caravalho Jr. and Melo (Amber Mendez) Caravalho of Holualoa; daughters, Cindy (Justin Mason) Caravalho of Holualoa, Shelly (Franklin Enos) Caravalho of Hilo and Destiny Caravalho of Holualoa; brothers, Ralph (Winnie) Borling of Hilo and Leroy (Amy) Borling of Alaska; sisters, Deborah Salas of Honolulu, Helen (Ernest) Carvalho of Keauhou and Mary-Ann Estrells of Oahu; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Randall “Randy” Scott Garrison, 60, of Ka‘u died Sept. 13 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Redwood City, Calif., he was a retired roadworker for Caltrans and logistics associate for Target. Richard Hong, 86 of Hilo died Sept. 14 at Yukio Okutsu Veterans State Home in Hilo. Born in South Kohala, he was a retired U.S. Postal Service letter carrier and U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Kirino Oda Muraoka, 91, of Hilo died Sept. 11 at home. Asae Kumiji, 95, of Hilo, died Sept. 7 at a private care home. Born in Olaa, she was a retired seamstress for the former Kamehameha Garment Factory. Private services. James August Schumaker, 62, of Keaau died Sept. 9, in Hilo. Mary Willocks, 75, of Hilo died Aug. 25 in Phoenix. Born in Chicago, she was the owner of Bed &Breakfast in Panaewa, restoration director of the Palace Theater and a member of Hilo Berean Bible Church.
