DOH reports 34 new COVID-19 cases on Big Island, 271 statewide

The state Department of Health has reported 34 new COVID-19 cases on the Big Island today.

A total of 271 new cases were reported statewide, including 236 in the City and County of Honolulu.

Two additional deaths also were reported by the DOH today, but additional detail were not immediately available.

Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency this morning, however, reported a sixth COVID-related death at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo.
