The state Department of Health is reporting 201 new COVID-19 cases statewide today, along with two more fatalities.

Both victims were Oahu men, one of whom was hospitalized, while the other died unattended at home, having reportedly not sought medical care.

The total death count in the state is now 31.

Of the 201 new cases, 200 of them are on Oahu, while the last case is on Maui. This brings the total case numbers for those islands to 2,741 and 179, respectively.

The case total for the Big Island remains at 123, while the Kauai total is 47.

This is the first time the state has exceeded 200 cases in a single day.
