DOH reports 22 new COVID-19 cases; 19 on Oahu, 3 on Big Island

The state Department of Health reports 22 new cases of COVID-19 statewide as of noon today.

The statewide total of cases is now 1,264, as updated information removed one Oahu case from the count.

Of the new cases, 19 are on Oahu, and three are on the Big Island.

The total case number in the City and County of Honolulu is 96-.

Maui County has the second-highest case total, with 135 cases.

Hawaii County now has 105 reported cases, while Kauai County’s case total is 43.

Twenty-one cases, overall, have been of Hawaii residents diagnosed while out of state.

So far, 133 of Hawaii’s cases have required hospitalization, and there have been 22 deaths statewide.

A total of 921 individuals have been released from isolation as recovered. according to DOH.
