The state Department of Health reported 20 new COVID-19 cases today, bringing the statewide total to 946.

Three of the new cases are on Hawaii Island.

According to DOH, 870, or 92% of the cases statewide involved residents.

The statewide death toll from coronavirus-related illness is 18, all on Oahu or Maui.

The number of statewide cases requiring hospitalization is 116, or 12%.

There have been 746 cases statewide that have been released from isolation as recovered, according to DOH.
