Henry N. Abellera Sr., 84, of Pahala died May 14. Born in Puukolii, Maui, he was a field supervisor for the former C. Brewer and Co., National Guard staff sergeant and member of Ninth Island Vegas Club and 808 Telephone Wala‘au Club. Private services held. Survived by wife, Anastacia Abellera; daughters, Holliday (Ronald) Wade, Charisse (Mel) Tsukamoto and Candy Abellera; sons, Darren (Catherine) Abellera, Henry Abellera Jr. and Drake (Kristine) Abellera; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles and cousins. Anita Filoteo Cadaoas, 89, of Mountain View died April 21 at home. Born in Hilo, she worked at the former S.H. Kress and the former Pick and Pay, was a member of Hilo High School class of 1948 and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Celebration of life at a later date. Survived by sons, Adrian (Shelia) Cadaoas of Hilo and Michael Cadaoas of Mountain View; daughter, Audrey (Louis Kolodij) Floyd of Florida; sister, Lillian Naihe of Hilo; brothers, Lawrence (Shirley) Castillias and Ronald Castillias of Puna; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Andrew Dai Choy Chong, 61 of Keaau died May 22 at home. Born in Hilo, he worked for Yamada Transfer, Big Island Removal, Puainako Pizza Hut, Walmart McDonald’s, Kamaaina Motors, The Home Depot and was a member of Kamana Senior Center bonsai and ceramics classes. Private family services to be held. Survived by wife, Ann Chong of Keaau; sons, Richard Chong and Brandon Chong of Keaau; sisters, Sandra (Terry Strack) Chong of Honolulu, Claire (Anthony) Fernandez of Keaau and Emma Chong of Hilo; brother, Dr. Clayton (Edwina) Chong of Honolulu; nieces and a nephew. Kyle “Narts” “Fuks” Sachio Fukunaga, 43, of Hilo died May 23 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a mechanic and tile setter. Private services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Robert Kauhimakakuokalani Napeahi Jr., 84, of Keaukaha died May 27. Born in Waiakea, he was a retired truck driver for the former HT&T, 1955 graduate of St. Joseph High School, member of Keaukaha Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, member of the Senior Citizen Softball League, Hilo Bay City Semi-Pro Football League, softball coach for Hilo High School and Hawaii National Guard veteran. Survived by wife, Roselani Kalua Napeahi of Hilo; son, Joseph (Wanda) Napeahi of Kahuku; daughters, Lynette (Aubrey) Auna, Terri Napeahi, Laures Napeahi-Ulep and Kim Kuikahi of Keaukaha; brother, Jack (Carol) Napeahi of Panaewa; sisters, Roberta K.
