A hunter who failed to return Sunday evening was rescued Monday afternoon near the 14.5-mile marker of Saddle Road, according to the Hawaii Fire Department.

The hunter was located at about 12:31 p.m. Monday and a county helicopter rescued the man with a Billy Pugh net.
