“Operation Red Wave,” an opportunity to give Hawaii Preparatory Academy’s Class of 2020 “a wave and a smile,” was held Saturday at the school’s lower polo field in Waimea.

Faculty and staff lined the area and practiced appropriate social distancing while cheering on seniors and their families as they drove through to pick up their graduation attire and other essential documents.

HPA will begin a week-long celebration of the Class of 2020 on their social media platforms, culminating with a virtual graduation on May 22.
