Julie Ann Campbell, 66, of Kailua-Kona died April 23 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Hartford, Conn., she was the owner of Closet Space Kona. Private service to be held at a later date. Survived by father, Paul Snipes; sister, Heidi (Ray) Marc-Aurele of California; companion, Larry Gessner of Kailua-Kona; and two nephews. Arrangements by Cremation Services of West Hawaii.

Dorothy Leimomi Hauanio-Fernandez, 56, of Hilo died April 26 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a processing manager for Hawaiian Fresh Products, Inc. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Survived by mother, Elizabeth Hauanio of Hilo; daughter, Shanelle (Jessica) Fernandez of Hilo; sons, Shane Fernandez and Spencer Kahapea of Hilo; sister, Helen Kamauoha of Hilo; brother, Joseph (Shawna) Hauanio of Valencia, Calif.; hanai sister, Rae Hauanio of Pahoa; hanai brothers, Les (Denise) Hauanio of Pahoa and Dana Hauanio of Hilo; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Richard Kahoalii Sr., 96, of Kailua-Kona died April 20 at his residence. Born in Waiohinu, he was a retired longshoreman for Pacific Maritime Association in Sacramento, Calif., member of Maui Aikido Club, Eureka Aikido Club, Puka Da Sky Golf Club, ILWU Local 14 of Eureka, Calif. and ILWU Local 18 of Sacramento. Service information to be announced at a later date. Survived by wife, Edith Kahoalii of Kailua-Kona; children, Richard (Deanna) Kahoalii Jr. and Eric (Sharron) Kahoalii of California, and LaVerne (Walter) Quinones of Kailua-Kona; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Gregory John Trifonovitch, 84, of Keaau, died April 4 at the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Jerusalem, Israel, he was a retired researcher and acting director of the East-West Center on Oahu, pilot, soccer coach, a member of Puna Covenant Church and Big Island Wood Turners, and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. A celebration life will take place at a later date. Survived by sons, John (Kathy) Trifonovitch of Kailua, Oahu, David (Kelli) Trifonovitch of Manoa, Oahu; daughter, Sonya (Darren) Ah Chong of Keaau; sisters, Mary (Robert) Gibbs of Seattle, Varia Schwope of San Diego; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
