Sharon Nalani Kekela, 57, of Papaikou died March 27 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a preschool teacher’s aide for Papaikou Hongwanji Mission, Good Years Educational Day Care Center and Private Child Day Care and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Private burial for immediate family. Survived by sisters, Debra (Leonard) Luiz of Papaikou and Julie (Allan) Kainoa of Keaau; brothers Paul (Alicia) Kekela of Hilo, Karl (Kimi) Kekela of Keaau and Michael (Rhonda) Kekela of Vernal, Utah; nieces, nephews and cousins.
