The Office of Housing and Community Development is not accepting walk-in clients at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the county said in a statement Thursday.
Clients who have an already scheduled appointment with their caseworker is urged to call or email them directly before attempting to meet in person.
OHCD will be working remotely and will conduct business by phone, email, fax, and/or teleconferencing when possible. Instead of visiting the offices in Hilo or Kona, please call 959-4642 in Hilo or 323-4300 in Kona and/or email sec8info@hawaiicounty.gov.
