Eric Dean Hedenberg, 57, of Holualoa died Feb. 27 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Van Nuys, Calif., he was a tile setter and pianist with a musical group. Private services. Survived by daughters, Sabrauna Hedenberg and Heavenly Hedenberg of Portland, Ore.; mother, Mary Hedenberg of Holualoa; brother, Steve Hedenberg of Oahu. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary, Kona.

Gertrude “Lei” Leilani Sato, 70, of Laupahoehoe died March 7 in Hilo. Born in North Hilo, she was a retired public schools cafeteria worker and custodian and member of Laupahoehoe Congregational Church. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 6 p.m. Church service 10 a.m. Sunday, March 29, at Laupahoehoe Congregational Church. Casual attire; flower leis welcome.
