Consider this one a make-up call.

The UH-Hilo senior was bypassed in this space honor a couple of times this season after his late-game heroics lifted the Vulcans to victories – and it would have been a shame if he never had his name here.

Not that Harrison doesn’t deserve the honor this week on merit after again showing his propensity to come through in the clutch. He scored 20 points Saturday in his final college game at Hawaii Pacific, making three baskets down the stretch, including one to ice the 65-61 win with 6 seconds left.

For the season, Harrison led the Vuls with 17.7 points and 7.1 rebounds a game.
