Joanne M. Cuison, 76, of Hilo died Jan. 11 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Originally from Naalehu, she was a special education assistant at Valor Middle School in Woodburn, Ore., and housewares assistant at the local Walmart. Caroline Lokelani Hada, 81, of Hilo died Jan. 29 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Ka‘u, she was a retired cook for the former Hukilau Restaurant. Survived by sons, Thomas (Grace) Hada of Mililani Mauka, Oahu, Glenn (Kay) Hada of Mililani Mauka and Gordon (Jeanette) Hada of Omaha, Neb.; hanai daughter, Pearl Naito of Honolulu; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Louise Molloy Teixeira, 68, of Keaau, formerly of Newport Beach, Calif., died Feb. 17 at home. Born in Stockton, Calif., she was a retired director of purchasing for Coffee Bean &Tea Leaf, member of Sure Foundation Church in Keaau, raised domestic chickens and was a scuba diver and traveler. Hector Urteaga, 87, of Hilo died Feb. 9 at home. He was an elder of the Hawaiian Paradise Park Congregation Of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Francis “Frank” “Patute” Williams Jr., 70, of Hilo, died Jan. 24 at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Honolulu, he was employed by the former Hawaiian Tel and The Queen’s Medical Center. Celebration of life 10-11 a.m. March 28 at AJA Veterans Hall, 361 Haihai St. Light lunch after services.
