There have been no shortage of fine basketball players to pass through Kohala – but Cazimero was the first to take the Cowboys to the promised land.

Averaging 22 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and three steals, the sophomore his community on a magical three-day ride that culminated Kohala capturing its first state championship in school history.

Cazimero, needless to say, was the Division II tournament’s most outstanding player and a slam dunk for this honor.
