Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency and the Hawaii Fire Department are holding a Community Emergency Response Team basic training course in Ka‘u at the Ocean View Community Center, starting Saturday, Feb. 22. This emergency response basic training course is developed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and is free to the public.
