BIIF runner-up Hilo was eliminated by Pearl City 3-1 on Monday.

In Division II, Hawaii Prep blanked Waimea 6-0, behind Isabella Police’s two goals. Kahala Erskine, Makana Blake, Alianna West, and Malia Brost also scored for the BIIF champion and No. 1 seed Ka Makani (12-1).

“It was nice to get things underway,” HPA coach Stephen Perry said. “The girls were itching to play after 12 days off. Our ball movement early on created a lot of opportunities. It was win and advance.”

HPA plays Kapaa in the semifinals at 3 p.m. Friday in the main stadium.

BIIF runnerup Kamehameha lost to Mid-Pacific 4-2 in the quarterfinals. Chenoa Frederick and Sophia Wilson scored for the Warriors (7-5-3).
