John Grover • soccer

It’s quite possible that Waiakea’s boys soccer team will start winning BIIF titles more often, but either way the legend of Grover’s performance is sure to grow.

With the Warriors on the ropes against Hilo, the senior scored two goals in the second half to give Waiakea a charge, and Grover’s golden goal in double overtime secured his team’s first championship since 2006.
