Kym Katsutaro Fukushima, 59, of Holualoa died Jan. 8 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, he was a counter agent for the former Aloha Airlines and a member of Kahaluu Kumiai. Private services held; no flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by brother, Ronan (Caroline Damo) Fukushima of Holualoa; sister, Emee (Randy) Sugi of Sparks, Nev.; an uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Derwin Kaholoaa, 64, of Honokaa died Dec. 7 at Maui Memorial Hospital. He was a senior heavy equipment operator for Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. Celebration of life for family and friends 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Shelbie and Chris Antonio’s home in Honokaa. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Geri Kaholoaa of Honokaa; daughters Shelbie (Chris) Antonio and Keli Ann Kaholoaa of Honokaa; four grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lucia June K. Lucas-Padilla, 72, of Kalopa died Dec. 16 at home. Born in Haina, she was a retired employee of Paauilo Elementary and Intermediate School, former employee of Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and former member of Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko. Visitation 7:30-10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa. Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by husband, Dennis Padilla of Kalopa; daughter, Derice Padilla of Kalopa; son, Denson (Gloria Nirei) Padilla of Kalopa; sisters, Jean (John) Rushforth of California, Rose Marie (Gordon) Kainoa of Idaho and Leilani (Kevin) McGough of Washington; a hanai granddaughter; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, great-grandnieces and grandnephews. June Haunani Wong Yuen, 65, of Hilo died Jan. 19 at home. Born in Pahala, she was a retired cashier and meat wrapper for KTA Super Stores, Puainako and member of Kauaha‘ao Congregational Church in Waiohinu.
