Robert “Jody” “Rob” “Bobby” Abraham, 58, of Waikoloa died Dec. 16 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in San Diego, a cook 1 at the Mauna Lani, Hilton Waikoloa Village, Hapuna Prince and Keauhou Beach hotels, member of International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 142 and culinary arts graduate at Hawaii Community College. Memorial service 3-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, Old Kona Airport Park large pavilion. Casual attire; no flowers. Oscar Friels Jr., 65, of Kailua-Kona died Jan. 9 at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Bunkie, La., he was the owner of Oscar Friels Household and Maintenance Services, member of Kona Chorus Society, Knights of Columbus, MLK Committee and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Patrick Primitivo Sombrio, Jr., 54, of Hilo died Dec. 18 at Hilo Medical Center.
