Learn to live more in the moment, think on your feet, let go of self-judgment, bring more joy in your life and recapture your playful spirit during an upcoming workshop series at Volcano Art Center.

Beginning Improv for Adults is a six-week series from Jan. 9-Feb. 20, 2020. Classes are slated for 1-3 p.m. each Thursday at Volcano Art Center’s Niaulani Campus. There will be no class Feb. 6. The series is taught by improv legend Keli Semelsberger, founder of Charlotte Comedy Theater, and Medicine Woman Dance.

Semelsberger has taught and performed improv comedy for 25 years. She was taught in Chicago by Del Close and Amy Poehler. Her teaching style is laidback and inspiring.

Attendance to all six sessions is not required to participate. No prior experience is necessary.

The cost for each class is $40, or $35 for VAC members. The series cost for all six classes is $235, or $205 for VAC Members.
