Frederick “Fred” Eugene Capellas, 81, of Sacramento, Calif., formerly of Pahala, died Nov. 24 in Sacramento. Born in Waimea, Kauai, he was a retired teacher for Sacramento City College, U.S. Army veteran and classic car and bonsai enthusiast. Memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at Affordable Cremation, 4750 Beloit Drive, Sacramento. No flowers. Memorial donations to local animal shelter.
