Born in Honolulu, he was a retired school bus driver trainer for Roberts Hawaii, former Hele-On and Ka ‘Umeke Ka‘eo Hawaiian Immersion Public Charter School bus driver and retired Hawaii Army National Guard staff sergeant and mechanic.
