The 13th annual Howling and Meowing Holidays is set for 7:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 1 at the Hawaiian Paradise Park Community Center.

The goal of this event is to raise funds to help support Rainbow Friends Animal Sanctuary’s operations, animal food, care and community assistance programs, education, training and outreach.

Howling and Meowing Holidays kicks off with a dog walk starting at 8 a.m. followed by games, demonstrations, a best holiday dressed dog contest, music, pictures with Santa, a silent auction, food, vendors and more.

Dog walk teams that raise the most sponsorship dollars will win big prizes and be highlighted in the Rainbow Friends newsletter.

Participants can enter the dog walk with a $15 donation for the first animal and $5 for each additional pet. Teams can ask friends, family, neighbors and business associates to sponsor them with a financial donation.

The more teams raise to help the animals at Rainbow Friends, the closer they get to win a prize.

To register for the dog walk, visit www.rainbowfriends.org.

Local business and corporate sponsorship opportunities are available to support this year’s event. Contact Rainbow Friends at 982-5110 or mail@rainbowfriends.org.
