What do Ka’u junior standout Pilanca-Emmsley and Kamehameha track and field all-star Chenoa Frederick have in common?

They are the Tribune-Herald’s only three time Athlete of the Week honorees since this space was created in 2015 – and they each have one more high school season to try to go 4 for 4.

Pilanca-Emmsley earned his threepeat with a five-touchdown performance as the Trojans beat Pahoa 56-50.

The Tribune-Herald wasn’t able to reach Pilanca-Emmsley to ask him its five standard questions, but it’s just well.

Not only are we running out of questions to ask him, but we’ll probably have reason to honor him again next year.
