Hui Malama Ola Na ‘Oiwi was awarded a two-year grant for $307,000 from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs Community Grant program.

This grant award supports the Uplifting the Health of the Hawaiian Nation by Perpetuating Culture and Strengthening Identity Project. The goal of the project is to provide pathways and introduce the basics of various cultural practices.

Hui Malama is dedicated to uplifting the health of the Hawaiian nation by sharing the knowledge of Native Hawaiian cultural values, beliefs and history. By providing these workshops, Hui Malama fosters opportunities to spread awareness for and encourage the preservation of traditional healing.
