Henry Perreira Aguiar, 104, of Hilo died Sept. 11 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired service station owner/mechanic and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Wednesday (Oct. 23) at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Memorial mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire; no flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Brian Tsugio Andrade, 42, of Naalehu died Sept. 20 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kealakekua, he was a self-employed mason for Ace Construction Co. Yaeko “Aunty Yae” Ebesugawa, 92, of Hilo, died Sept. 23 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. Born in Hilo, she was a retired bookkeeper for the former Ebesu’s Florist and member of Higashi Hongwanji Mission and Higashi Hongwanji Fujinkai. Private services held. Alfred Georgie Kumalae Jr., 64, of Kurtistown died Oct. 5 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a Hobie Cat sailing instructor and retired nursery field maintenance worker. May Fujiko Takushi, 79, of Hilo died Oct. 7 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a beautician, retired owner of the former Style Beauty Salon, and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin. George “Fritz” Frederick Warren, 86, of Kailua-Kona died Oct. 8 at home. Born in Jacksonville, Fla., he was a retired certified public accountant, retired U.S. Marine Corps lieutenant colonel and Vietnam War veteran who served on USS Missouri, and former chief financial officer for the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
