Manuel Daog, 90, of Florida, formerly of Hilo, died Oct. 7 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center in Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was a retired U.S. Army sergeant first class who worked for several companies in Chicago and Miami after retiring from the Army. Visitation 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment 8:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) in Honolulu. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by son, Michael (Diana) Daog of Miami Gardens, Fla.; daughters, Rose Marie Daog Yuhas of Los Angeles and Sandi (Kevin) Hagan of Maitland, Fla.; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
