Head to Volcano Village to experience Second Saturday on Oct. 12.
Experience Volcano’s once-a-month event, designed to showcase the many things to do in Volcano, will include specials at local restaurants, food trucks, shops such as Volcano Winery, and special events such as hula performances and demonstrations.
Volcano Art Center will have special guided nature walks in the tract of virgin rain forest behind the gallery — some of the oldest and best-preserved native rain forests on the island — as well as viewings of its sculptured garden and mosaics. Its gallery also will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Volcano Garden Arts also will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and will have self-guided “Secret Garden” tours of its famous garden and specials in its world-class art gallery, which showcases pieces by many local artists.
