Entries are due Saturday, Sept. 28, for the 31st annual “The Trash Show: Hawaii Artist Recycle.”
Entries will be accepted from 9 a.m.-noon at the East Hawaii Cultural Center in Hilo.
Volcano artist and founder of the show, Ira Ono, will return to jury the show, one of East Hawaii’s longest-running annual arts events.
The public is invited to attend the gala opening from 5:30-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, which will be followed by a multimedia presentation, “An Exploration of Light, Sound and Spirit,” by Ken Goodrich of Hawaii Photo Retreat starting at 7:30 p.m. in EHCC’s upstairs performance space.
The “Trash Show” will be on exhibit from Oct. 4-25.
