Elijah Kahele • football

This honor often trends away from West Hawaii athletes during the busy BIIF season – but five touchdowns is five touchdowns.

Kahele scored every which way but loose to spark Kealakehe to a 55-29 victory against Keaau, including on a nifty 81-yard kickoff return.

If the Waveriders are to make a dent against Hilo and Konawaena in the second half of the season, Kahele likely will play a large role.
