Edward Tsuneo Hada, 81, of Hilo died Aug. 8 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Private services held. Survived by sons, Todd Hada of Honolulu and Mark Hada of Wailuku, Maui; sisters, Kiyoko (Hajime) Kuwada of Honolulu and Sally Bartholetti of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; brother, Roy (Carlene) Hada of Hilo; sister-in-law, Caroline Hada of Hilo; a granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Masako Kajiwara, 101, of Hilo died Sept. 10 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker. No services. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by sister, Sue Sumiko Watanabe of Hilo; a niece, grandnephew and two great-grandnephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Ramon Pera Pajo, 92, of Pepeekeo died Sept. 8 at home. Born in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he was retired from the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. Visitation 8:30-9:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial at noon at Mauna Kea Memorial Park. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Virginia Pajo of Pepeekeo; sons, Hiram (Stacy) Pajo of Honolulu, Patrick Pajo and Max (Laura) Pajo of Hilo; brother, Rufo (Aida) Pajo of Corona, Calif.; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
