The 20th annual He Hali‘a Aloha No Lili‘uokalani is Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Liliu‘okalani Gardens in Hilo.

The free, family-friendly event, celebrating the birthday and commemorating the life of Hawaii’s last reigning monarch, features hula, taiko, an urasenke tea ceremony, cultural activities and demonstrations, keiki games and activities and tours of Banyan Drive’s historic banyan trees and Waiakea Peninsula’s power plant.

Entertainment includes Kalapana Awa Band with Ikaika Marzo, Darlene Ahuna, Bruddah Waltah Aipolani, Randy Lorenzo and Friends, Taishoji Taiko and the Waiakea Intermediate School Ukulele Band.
