The University of Hawaii at Hilo invites the public to its Seeds of Opportunity Strategic Planning Summit slated for Sept. 25-26 to share diverse perspectives and co-create a future image of the university.

The summit will be hosted in the Ka Haka ‘Ula O Ke‘elikolani’s College of Hawaiian Language Performing Arts Hall located at 113 Nowelo St. The event is free, but advance registration is required.

The summit caps UH-Hilo’s strategic pre-planning stage of collecting information to help inform a new strategic planning process. The conversations during this event, along with those from a recent listening tour, will help move the university forward into the planning stage.

More than 100 summit participants including faculty, staff, students, alumni, community partners and guest event facilitators will discuss the UH-Hilo’s past and future, dreams and actions, possibilities and specifics.
