A Keaau man has been charged for allegedly stabbing a Puna man multiple times last week.

Curtis Mamone Jr., 37, was arrested last Tuesday after police received a report of a stabbing incident against a 27-year-old Puna man in Ainaloa.

The victim was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds, but was upgraded to a stable condition.

On Thursday, Mamone was charged with one count of first-degree assault and one of terroristic threatening. His bail was set at $35,000.
