Kahilu Theatre is proud to announce that subscription packages for its 39th season, “Being Alive,” are now available for purchase.

Subscribers are offered the best prices for the best seats in the house for a variety of shows in Kahilu’s 2019-20 season. Subscribers can choose any or all of four dynamic subscription packages.

The Hawaiian Music Series, featuring superstar Keali‘i Reichel, open Sept. 21. The Three Maui Divas will celebrate their music and style on Oct. 12. The 17th annual ‘Ukulele and Slack Key Guitar Festival night is slated for Nov. 22. Hawaiian Style Band will bring the best of its music and songs to the Waimea theater on Jan. 17, 2020. Two-time Grammy winner Kalani Pe‘a will perform He Wehi Aloha-Valentine’s Day Concert on Feb. 14. Blending old and new forms of ki ho‘alu and more, slack key virtuoso Makana will perform March 7. And one of Hawaii’s most revered and famous kumu hula, musician and singer, Robert Cazimero, closes the series May 9.

One of the most creative concert pianists of our time, Sara Davis Buechner, opens the Classical Music Series on Nov. 10. The Camerata RCO, a noted ensemble from Amsterdam, performs Jan. 14, 2020. The three extraordinary tenors of Ultimi will give their Hawaii Island performance Feb. 2. Winner of the Audience Award and finalists at the 15th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, Rachel Cheung, performs Feb. 9. And Kahilu Theatre favorite piano duo Cheryl “Quack” Moore and Anthony Maroudas light up the stage April 19.

The Music Variety Series will begin with one of the most in-demand jazz musicians today, the Christian Sands Trio, on Oct. 11. Okaidja Afroso is an Afro-pop singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Ghana, and his spicy trio will perform Oct. 22. Jazz pianist and composer Carmen Staaf and her group make their Kahilu Theatre debut Nov. 16. Named Live Ireland’s Traditional “Group of the Year,” Goitse performs Feb. 25, 2020. American singer-songwriter Joan Osborne closes this series March 20.

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet returns to the Kahilu on Jan. 18, 2020, to kick off the Dance Series. Speak: Tap and Kathak Unite will bring a sensational performance Feb. 16. In Rink Life, Lucky Plush presents its highly innovative brand of dance theatre March 28.
