Santiago Castillo de Leon, 86, of Keaau died July 6 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Novacan, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a papaya farmer, foliage nursery worker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation again 8-10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire; flowers and lei welcome. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Consolacion Derrada de Leon of Keaau; son, Wilson (Mary) de Leon of Mountain View; daughters, Marilyn de Leon (Ira) Shigaki of Paauilo and Arcelie de Leon of the Philippines; brother, Rodolfo (Sophia) de Leon of the Philippines; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and cousins. Clinton Leimamo Pawai, 53, of Waimea died June 28 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu, he was a maintenance man for Waikoloa Golf Course, vendor and Waimea egg farm worker. Community meal for family and friends 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at St. James Episcopal Church in Waimea. Graveside service at 6 p.m. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Survived by son, Clinton Pawai-Pepee of Makaha, Oahu; father, Richard Pawai of Idaho; sisters, Paulynn Pawai of Hilo and Danniel Pawai of Waimea; a granddaughter; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Joshua K. Sosa, 26, of Waianae, Oahu, formerly of Puna, died April 12 at home. Service 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27, at Onekahakaha Beach Park in Hilo. Survived by son, Sojah Sosa, and brother, Marcus Sosa.
