Alaysha Nohelani Fujiyama, 21, of Keaau died June 17 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at New Hope Church, 840 Kupulau Road, Hilo. Celebration of life 6 p.m. Graveside urn committal service 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Casual attire. Stanley Alcoran Joaquin Sr., 60, of Honokaa died July 4 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. Born in Honokaa, he was a senior cane truck driver with the former Honokaa Sugar Plantation, landscaper at the Mauna Lani Resort, produce clerk at Foodland Farms at Mauna Lani, member of the Hamakua Jaycees, president of the Hamakua Archery Club and Mauna Lani Archery Club and the lead singer of the Hamakua Braddas. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, at the King’s Chapel in Honokaa, off of Ahualoa Road. Memorial service 10 a.m. Casual attire. Janet Mieko Miyose, 93, of Kona died July 17 at home. Born in Kainaliu, she was a coffee and mango farmer, retired housekeeper for Kona Hospital and former member of the Holualoa Kumiai. LaVerne Lokelani Muller Ohashi Morikami, 88, of Keaau died June 8 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Waialua, Oahu, she was a field laborer with the Keaau Banana Plantation.
