A body, likely that of a 24-year-old Massachusetts man who went missing during a swim on Saturday, was found Monday morning about 200 yards of Papakolea Beach, also known as Green Sands Beach, police said.
Hawaii Fire Department divers found the body submerged about 200 yards offshore of the Ka‘u beach.
An autopsy has been scheduled. The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
