The county Department of Parks and Recreation announced the closure of the Laupahoehoe pool from July 29-Aug. 2 for maintenance. The pool’s water will be replaced and the filter media will be cleaned in order to maximize the filtration system’s efficiency.
Parks and Recreation apologizes for any inconvenience this might cause, and looks forward to starting the Novice Swim Team program Aug. 5.
