Volcano Art Center presents “Sounds At The Summit,” featuring operatic vocalist D’Andrea Pelletier and “A Night the Opera.”

Pelletier will perform a set of works ranging from Puccini and Verdi to Strauss and Queen beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at the VAC Niaulani Campus in Volcano Village.

Some highlights of the evening will include “Parigi o Cara” from “La Traviata” with special guest Ian McMillan and “Casta Diva” from the opera “Norma.”

Recognized for her diverse vocal talent and universal image, Pelletier is a classically trained soprano with the agility of a coloratura, the timbre of a lyric to the dramatic flair of a spinto. Her diverse range allows her to perform works made famous by Maria Callas and Luciano Pavorotti.

Pelletier’s performance history includes appearances with Michael Bublé, District Rotary of Hawaii, KDEN Theatre and various live performances as a soloist. As the newest member of the Mae Orvis Studio, she will be performing in the 2019-20 season with Hawaii Opera Theatre as she expands her reach as the Queen of Opera.

Tickets for the performance are $20 for VAC members or $25 for non-members. Ticket holders will be able to purchase beer, wine and pupus.

Tickets are available for sale online at www.volcanoartcenter.org, at VAC’s administration office in Volcano Village or the VAC Gallery in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The last day to purchase tickets online is Friday.

After Friday, tickets will be sold at the gallery and at the door if they are not sold out.

Tickets will be held at will call the day of the show or can be picked up any day before the show from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Niaulani Campus.

The Volcano Art Center Niaulani Campus is located at 19-4074 Old Volcano Road in Volcano Village.
