Hilo, Kamehameha and Konawaena were fit to be tied at the HHSAA baseball championships on Saturday.
In Division I, the No. 3 seed Vikings tied No. 1 Baldwin 2-2 for third place at Iron Maehara Stadium on Maui in a two-hour, time-limited game.
In Division II, the No. 1 Warriors tied No. 2 Radford 5-5 for third place at Vidinha Stadium on Kauai.
The Wildcats tied Waipahu 4-4 for fifth place.
Hilo 2, Baldwin 2: Sophomore Kelden Ogawa pitched five innings of two-run ball and walked one and struck out one against the Bears, who won the state title in 2016 and last season. Junior Robello Hekili fired a scoreless inning.
Ryan Cabreira batted 2 for 2 with an RBI, and Dayson Urbanozo Moses went 2 for 2 with an RBI for the Vikings (14-4), who lose four starters in catcher Cabreira, ace Ocean Gabonia, third baseman Jantzden Kahee, and outfielder Micah Freeman.
The Vikings also played flawless defense with no errors, after committing four in a semifinal loss to Punahou and two in a quarterfinal win against Kailua.

Kamehameha 5, Radford 5: Senior Tai Atkins, Braeden Coloma, and Laa Asuncion closed their last games on a high note. Atkins batted 3 for 3 and scored two runs, Coloma went 2 for 3 with an RBI and scored two runs, and Asuncion was 2 for 2 with an RBI.
Coloma started and gave up three runs in three innings. Brock Malani followed and allowed two runs in an inning, and Rydge Ishii pitched a scoreless inning for the win.
The Warriors scored the go-ahead run in the sixth when freshmen Jonah Reich and Salvatore Martino both singled. Then Ishii grounded into a fielder’s choice for an RBI.
Kamehameha loses seven seniors in ace/center fielder Atkins, first baseman Bula Ahuna, catcher Bryce Furuli, third baseman Asuncion, outfielder/pitcher Coloma, and designated hitter Ayson Mar, and Brycen Nakata.

Konawaena 4, Waipahu 4: Riki Furoto pitched five innings of one-run ball while Boaz Ayers gave up two runs, and James Kapela had a scoreless inning for the Wildcats (12-9).
Bronson Rivera batted 3 for 3 with four RBIs, hitting a two-run homer in the fifth, and Jaimison Medeiros went 2 for 2 for Kona, which graduates Ayers, second baseman Jake Basque, catcher Kanai Rivera, and third baseman Tevin Canda.
